The Lake and the Sackler Crossing

A car full of excess stuff... so we visited the dump and had lunch at Kew. The forecast was right and the best light was around midday, so we timed things well. Slightly mystified that the lake at Kew apparently has no name other than 'the Lake'. Other slightly odd thing - is the apparently straight-edged dark tree on the RHS. (additional photo).
