Long Nights Moon

Native American Indians call it the Long Nights Moon because it occurs near the Winter Solstice on 21 December which is the shortest day of the year.  Good news is that then the days start getting longer. The Full Moon isn't 'til 14 December but I couldn't resist blipping it this morning (00.45)  -  who knows - on Wednesday it might be covered with clouds. Have a nice day!
