Not fade away

There's still a little bit of colour in the garden. Lovely red cotoneaster leaves. No mucking about today, just a quick scurry round in the rain to see if there was anything colourful.

After yesterday's efforts at bird photography by LooseCanon, in which the birds were notable by their absence, they proved to be a vengeful bunch because I discovered one of the little feathered darlings must have sneaked back later and left a large deposit of something nasty all down the leg of my jeans! ( Not his, so unfair.) Chemical and biological warfare on them and two washes haven't shifted the stain which is sort of orangey brown. They must have been eating curry or something. We put seeds out for them and everything! Ungrateful bunch!
