An institution

Thanks to HildasRose who made me think of this shop as a Blip subject when she visited Alcester earlier this week.  She was amazed that such shops still exist.

This shop has been unchanged since we have lived here and probably much of the stock too.  Somehow it manages to keep going.

Last time I went in there was for some curtain hooks.  They were sold loose and he wrapped them up in a square of brown paper.
