The Thirty-nine Steps

Don't count them, there's only thirty-two, but this straight away made me recall the Scottish [edit: thanks Scobes] author of the novel made famous by the real Thirty-nine Steps.

I like the way the long focal length flattens the perspective of the steps. Is he coming up or going down ... ?

After a brief flirt with Princes Street and the madness of last minute Christmas shopping/sales I retrested to the relative calm of the gardens at lunchtime and the Reindeer (<- blip reject).

Last day of work for ten days tomorrow. And we might even get a half day. Woo hoo!

LOTD: Barking's Pure Joy blip won't need the link but the sense of space and movement is fantastic - my favourite blip of the day.
