The Man from Uncle

It's good being an Uncle. Pretty much most of the upsides of children with the bonus of being able to hand them back if the tears come, nappies need changing, etc. Took Eilidh a bit of time today to realise we weren't to be subject to the initial suspicion. And I'm not bitter at all that she took more to Mel. But she was still happy to demonstrate to me the noise a cow makes (in the left of shot).

Good to catch up with Sam and Joss today, chatting about all sorts of stuff over a great late lunch in the Northumberland Arms in Felton (fast becoming my favourite pub in the country...). Christmas present swap done. Also good to give the Mini its first properly long run - didn't miss a beat (after charging the battery overnight) though you really do appreciate the quiet when you turn the engine off....
