Below Castle Crag

Day 4: Buttermere to Keswick, via Warnscale valley and Honister. This was an much easier day than we were prepared for. Firstly our walking instructions had the wrong amount of ascent, it was a mere 450m; and secondly we cheated and got the Keswick launch when we reached Derwent Water. We even had time for ice creams in Grange. Hardly any rain either!
