And Winter Came

Today a sunny winter day with -10C. We went for a walk along the coastline. The waters were mostly open and there was a lot of mist emitting from the water. In addition, the sun produced a fabulous halo or "icebow" caused by ice crystals in the air - see extra for the "icebow" and more mist.

The mist around the islands in the background can be seen better in the main photo if looked as large. Chose the main photo due to the added impact of the fisherman in his boat and the sun visible through the clouds.
