Water pressure was so poor this morning that the water was trickling out of the tap. Enough to get a few cup fulls in the kettle but not to run run hot water; the boiler was being starved. The cause was a burst main in a nearby village but I nearly went back to bed because I don't feel human until I've had a bath in the morning. As it was I got on with the marking with a brief break for a walk. Water was restored during the afternoon and I feel far better. 

Baked salmon with braised fennel and spinach this evening - the fennel is already in the oven and the salmon will be going in shortly.
