Snow Bunting

A dull, murky day in Glenshee.

Went looking for snow buntings, didn't find any, so went further down the road towards Braemar to photograph the red deer stags.

Climbed up a massive steep hill searching for mountain hare only to get to the top and look down to where the car was parked and see a decoration/mural/sacrifice of snow buntings landing nearby to feed.  Cue me running back down the hill at a rate of knots!  My heart was beating so fast I could hardly keep still to photograph them and the resultant photos are not my best work!  Wonderful to see them though!
