Old Mr. Pi

Well Ronán's 50th went well last night in Salthill. Many tales of yore on Cape Clear and elsewhere including how Dónal ended up in the island nurses bed by accident. My extra is how I felt early this morning.
After recuperating with the full Irish breakfast we headed out to Moycullen, north of Galway and visited some friends in their very individual house. A maze of almost finished, many lenses and cameras to explore, old Leicas, adapted this and recycled that. A piano with all sorts in and on it, and two wonderful dogs. Pictured above, Luna on the left, who wees with excitement when you come in and on the right old Mr. Pi. They got him when he was three and a bit (hence the name), he was a rescue dog, had been very badly treated. He still cowers and runs if you have your hand raised too high. Though he's had nothing but gentle love now for years.
After a few hours chat, the long drive back to West Cork, a good weekend.
