La Coupole

Our last morning in Paris, and after breakfast we went to Printemps one of 'Les Grands Magasins' on Boulevard Haussmann.  We went up to the 9th floor where there's a cafe with a terrace that has views across Paris (see my extras), and it was such a lovely morning, it actually felt quite warm in the sun. We then went to the 6th floor to Le Coupole which has this amazing domed glass ceiling which was lit up by the sunlight.

All too soon it was time to head to the airport and once again everything ran smoothly - the flight was on time and only took 40 minutes.  No sooner were we up than we were down!

It's been a great weekend, although we've been worried about Scarlett - she fell and banged her head on Thursday and soon after started being sick.  So Rachel took her to the hospital and they carried out a CT scan, but everything was normal, so she was sent home.  However, that night she was up every hour being sick, so on Friday morning Rachel took her back to the hospital.  She ended up being admitted, yet despite continually being sick, the hospital failed to carry out any tests.  They said that they didn't think the sickness was linked to the head injury, and suspect it's viral and that may have in fact caused her to fall.

Last night due to the lack of any action from the hospital, Rachel & Scott made the decision to discharge her and take her home and she had a good nights' sleep.  Today she's started to eat, hasn't been sick and she seems a little brighter, so fingers crossed she's on the up!  What a worry!
