Common Sandpiper

A pretty little Sandpiper striking a preening pose. Sandpipers are always willing to put on a little natural behaviour show and I never feel that I cramp their style as they do what comes naturally, even though they are aware of me watching them. Lovely little birds and today there were about 6 pairs!
