Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Lake Union Mail

I’m done in.  2 hours of shopping (my least favorite thing to do —and it was just the hardware store, the drugstore and the grocery store…so crowded! ) and did not produce any excellent photos.  I’m feeling a bit behind… but ….. so what.     So I’ll have to make do with this shot of our neighborhood mail shop… Thank goodness for Lake Union Mail so I don’t have to tackle a real post office. At least I'm not mailing lots of packages anymore.   It costs a tad more but it’s 5 minutes away and worth it.   And look at all those things it does (didn’t know they did passport photos… the ones we had taken recently were technically terrible —so if they get rejected , we’ll try Lake Union Mail.)   The WBC is "flag" so this US flag signifying the PO could qualify if I don’t get something more creative...and I do like the red white and blue theme :-)    That red bench was once the railing around the steam plant chimneys on Lake Union, reformed.   The person who started this business recently retired (with his dog) altho I saw him there today…he can't stay away..altho it has new owners who are doing great.....and there was a very nice article in the Eastlake news about the neighborhood icon.  The extra is the pen drawing that went with that article.
I forgot to say that the "Banksy" copycat was gone when I walked by yesterday!!
