District Champs

Well, this happened today....

The team won the district championship.  It's a mixed blessing since my daughter (and others for that matter) has gotten such limited play time.  (she got one touch tonight when she subbed in so coach could yell at one player for making a mistake....) She's a great sport though and has been a great teammate.  Plus it's always fun when your high school wins anything.  Just wish the coach was better about getting more girls involved.  Still playing.......

The extra shot is three of the seniors (mine's #8) with the district trophy.  The fourth senior went down with a pretty serious injury during the second set and had to go to the hospital. :(

Full disclosure: these are iphone shots.  Didn't even take my camera in because A) I knew she wouldn't play and B) most of us seriously expected them to lose.... go figure...
