Along the River Track....

The hot nor-west winds of the last few days are fast drying out the lush grasses along the river tracks. However the purple-blue flowers of the Vipers Bugloss are attracting bees galore. This wildflower is mistakingly called "Blue Borage" and makes for very nice honey. Maisie enjoyed our walk along the tracks and back through a vineyard this morning. She frequently cooled off in the river as we walked. It was hot walking and I envied Maisie's quick dips.
