Adlewyrchiadau yn y glaw ~ Reflections in the rain

Wel, mae e wedi cymryd mwy nag wythnos., ond, o'r diwedd dw i'n gyfredol gyda Blipfoto!

Roedd diwrnod diddorol heddiw.  Ces i fy nghydnabod fel rhywun sy'n fodlon sgwrsio yn Gymraeg - wel dw i'n hapus i geisio.  Ro'n i'n yn yr adran Adnoddau Dynol a dechreuodd y derbynnydd yn siarad â mi yn Gymraeg. Yn flaenorol roedd e'n anodd jyst i newid ieithoedd, ond nawr mae'n esmwythach.  Dw i'n dal yn araf, wrth gwrs, ond mae'r geiriau'n dod yn fwy naturiol. Gwnaeth hyn fy niwrnod. Dw i'n gwerthfawrogi pobol sy'n fodlon siarad ag pwy sy'n amyneddgar gyda dysgwyr.

Well, it has taken more than a week., but, at last I'm up to date with Blipfoto!

It was an interesting day today. I was recognised as someone who is willing to converse in Welsh - well I'm happy to try. I was in the HR department and the receptionist started talking to me in Welsh. Previously it was difficult just to switch languages, but now it's smoother. I'm still slow, of course, but the words come more naturally. This made my day. I appreciate people who are willing to talk and who are patient with learners.
