One of my hobbies is card making and it seems like granddaughter, Rachel, has gone one step further by winning a competition.

Out of 14 schools that took part, Rachel's card was the overall winner. The judges particularly liked the wording which 'showed her thoughtfulness towards others less fortunate'.

Her prize is £50 worth of books for her school and she gets to go for lunch with the mayor and mayoress of Stockport.
