'Tis the season to .... spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

Having spent the morning shopping for ingredients we spent a fair bit of the afternoon making this quiche (Tess) and these cheese and olive scones and tapenade (me) for Sophie's birthday party tomorrow.

I also finished my Christmas pressie shopping and this evening have managed to get them wrapped a record 9 days before the day itself, while Tess is out at a Christmas do.

All this left no time for blipping so here you have an Emergency Food Blip of our efforts.
