Pavements

I have had a fault on my phone line for just over a week but as I was away most of last week, I didn't report it until Monday. A BT Openreach engineer came out today and the fault seems to be on one of the phone poles outside about 100m away. The only problem is he was not allowed to climb the pole to fix it as the pole hadn't been tested since 1999.......so I will have to wait until Monday next week to get it sorted :-(

The council are relaying the pavements all along our street just now so we have had workman making lots of noise for the last couple of weeks!
