Waddesdon Mega Blipmeet

Fifteen Blippers met at the Wigwam Cafe in the grounds of Waddesdon Manor. There were a few familiar faces and lots of new ones and the nice thing about Blippers, is that they are all such a friendly bunch.

After a delicious lunch, we got to see the spectacular Christmas decorations within the house and despite not having room for a single morsel, I managed to demolish the most incredible afternoon tea (I must point out that all the other Blippers ate every crumb too!)

We continued our day by photographing the Manor after dark, when the whole building was lit by coloured lights and synchronised music. The Bruce Munro light installation rounded off the day and then back to the shuttle bus.
I've chosen this image, as it was so unusual to see a Christmas tree made entirely of books. I couldn't resist adding the Extra, as it was a gingerbread man with a palette :)
Very foggy on the way home, when visibility was down to about 20 yards! I've checked the other journals and I think everyone has made it home safely :)

Huge thanks to Hildasrose and Chantler63 for organising such an amazing day.
