Turkey Vulture

We had freezing rain over night but the temps are to get close to 70ºF/21ºC today.  

When I went out first this this morning it was still close to the freezing mark and there were several turkey vultures roosting in the the oak tree and one of the pine trees in the backyard.  These are huge birds and I think major ugly.  Perfect for an Alfred Hitchcock movie! 

I am finishing up the last of my Christmas baking this morning while Kent is at work.  Not sure what is planned for us this afternoon.

Just learned my brother will be making it home sometime Friday and not have to hit the road until Monday.  Yay!  I look forward to seeing him Christmas!
