Back to basics

After last nights gloomy offering I thought it was high time I got back to something more cheerful.  Crocus laevigatus in it's many variations is still flowering both under glass and out in the open garden.  Nice.

Plastic pinnies and blue plastic gloves were required on visiting Jamie this morning as Norovirus is suspected on the ward.  Jamie not at his best after a disturbed night for his own reasons ..... laxatives had been required, but not any more!!  Poor chap had a very uncomfortable night but has slept this afternoon and promises to be brighter when I visit tonight.  

We now have a Christmas Tree indoors awaiting decoration - another good reason to for Jamie to come home :-)
