Steffi & Rosie

We got Rosie as a foal in 1995 - she was born on 9.4.1995, an American Quarter Horse. So Maria and Steffi have grown up with her.

Sadly no photos during ´this half term of Silvan our second 1995 born foal who moved in on the same day as Rosie. He was another "gift" from local farmer Alois so that Rosie didn't grow up alone with just two grumpy old geldings. Silvan was Maria's favourite from the start and as Maria was in charge of the camera, no photos. Many years later, we gave Silvan to Maria after she had completed her studies as a teacher and he still is in her ownership as I post this in 2016.

Last day of half term with us and the girls went home smelling of horse and dog and cat and chicken. Parents no doubt delighted and threw all their clothing and the two children in gthe washing machines.

Fun for us too.
