Light and dark

First day of my Christmas holiday, nice!
It is been a stressful few days for Pippa... On Thursday in school it was discovered someone in her year had stolen the chemistry exam from the teacher, photographed it and posted it in some of the class chats. As a result on Friday the head of school announced the whole year had to resit the exam on their exam free day. Pippa was in tears as she (and quite a few others) did not partake in this cheating, but was still punished. Naturally, I sent an email of protest as I believe Pippa, she hates cheating! Despite the protest, she was still required to re-take the exam.
Thankfully however, school has now come back on their decision - if parents trust their child not to have cheated on the exam, the child does not have to do the exam again. So in the end a very relieved Pippa, albeit a shattered one... she dis not sleep well with all this going on.
