Waiting

Some made it, some didn't: the title company man showed up on time with a stack of papers for our refinance, but our poetry reading party for tomorrow was cancelled; the neighbors' afternoon party happened, but only four of five tappers made it to our gig at 1:00; relatives' flight to Italy was cancelled, but we met them for a movie at the Laurelhurst with no problem.
