Small stuff

Whilst on the cliff top at Yesnaby, this caught my eye. Stunning scenery all around, the Old Man of Hoy in the distance, the sun setting on the horizon, waves crashing against the rocks below whilst seagulls whirled, looped and soared on the Orcadian breeze; yet the thing that caught my eye was this tiny piece of flora. The shape and the colours are very striking, I think. Whilst looking around at the majesty of nature, don't forget to look at the small stuff. It's amazing.
