London is such an exciting place. And this time of year is wonderful, especially so this year. There seems to be a welcome and heartfelt response to the awfulness of so much of the world news this year. So now we celebrate life, light, joy, peace and love. Collectively, we're looking more earnestly for that which is good and, when we find it, we revel in it.

Today we popped into London and had a look round the exquisite Geffrye Museum, showcasing homes through the last 400 years. They have a great exhibition on teenage rooms and how these spaces reflect identity, memories and friendship. And then on to Carnaby Street, always a delight of lights. And on the way, a massed brass band and a topical message on Savile Row.
