Meltdoon...

I knew it would come but wasn't quite prepared for how colossal it would be.  A sleep over birthday next door where estimates were around the 2-3am mark.  Picked up at 10am to get ready for second run of the ice skating end of year show.  Then add a wee mix of mummy staying over at grannies tonight.

If you take Chernobyl and nail it's nuts to a tree, multiply it by a lifetime, then you've nearly got the meltdown Bethany had tonight.  It was brutal.

Thankfully, a soak in the bath seemed to sort it out and she's calmed down.

Phew.

In other news, whilst ice skating was performed.  Ewan and I went up to see the new Star Wars film.  Can happily report it is a proper Star Wars film.  Not the millenial jive talking clunky character introduction mess that was Episode VII.  Not as flashy and with more measured links to the original films, this is the one that isn't particularly kid friendly* but fills in the story a bit better. 

* Ewan was a bit bored, I think it was aimed at a more mature audience this time.  No Chewbaccas and limited droid action type events.
