Heartsease for M

These little wild pansies, Sawyer’s black heartsease, have come up in my front lawn for years. My son has been carefully mowing around each tiny plant. Last spring I transplanted nearly twenty of them in a new flower garden and they have flourished. They are specially for a friend whose birthday is today.
