Reflected sunset

A day mostly spent shopping, cleaning, tidying and putting up the rest of the Christmas decorations, together with a bit of cooking (cranberry sauce and low-fat pear and apple mincemeat), all in readiness for our family Christmas Day tomorrow. I hadn't realised how difficult it would be to find a free-range bronze turkey crown over a week before Christmas, and ended up buying the last frozen bronze turkey in Sainsbury's, which is now defrosting on top of a tall cupboard, to keep it out of the way of cats.

Towards dusk I had a swift walk round the Rowing Lake. The reflection of the sunset in the windows of the hotel was more interesting than the real thing, which was a rather ordinary, though perfectly pleasant, affair.
