Mummy Love

First of all, the wonderful news is that it's raining in Trapiá - a huge thanks to all who prayed or did a rain dance... Raniela sent me an audio of the sound of the rain hammering down - the best sound in the world if it hasn't rained properly for five years! Now to pray it will last long enough for a harvest.

Our kitchen was suddenly invaded this afternoon by two mummies, two two-year-olds, and two babies - mud, tears, spilt chocolate milk, breastfeeding, bumps, crying, snotty noses, toys and kitchen utensils scattered everywhere... Allegra remained her usual imperturbable self.

As she did tonight, when I babysat, and Zion woke up sobbing inconsolably for his Mummy, so that in the end, had to call her to come home - not a huge success...

Also been to the dentist and the doctor, and shopping and a good walk in my beloved Newhall Valley, where I saw the heron and a man with pink hair - but today my granddaughter and daughter win the Blip spot.
