Cold Feet

Started the day unloading and then stacking a truck full of logs, closely followed by M unloading and stacking about 200 metres of weather board - one way to clear the head after last night's party.  Then managed to drop my phone behind the freezer, luckily R has long skinny arms and is good at using BBQ gripper thingies.  Rest of the day's been busy, some of it spent looking and looking again at different weather forecasts for the next few days, trying to find a favourable one.  Ferries to Oban went off after the 11am one today.  Not much improvement tomorrow and Thursday and Friday through to Sunday looks crazy.  Have already changed our ferry booking from Friday to Thursday but wondering if we'll have to go via Lochaline, adding an hour or so onto a long journey.  There's a lot of quite stressed people here at the moment, trying organise themselves or friends and family to get on or off the island.  Suspect it's much worse for Coll, Tiree and beyond.

Weather not good for birds either - this one looks a bit rough.
