Waves at Westport

6.9C with a bright morning and good sunny spells. Light S/SSE breeze. Cloud came in early afternoon which then became very wet with rain for several hours. Southerly wind to 26 mph with gusts to 39 mph.

Apothecary7's day off.

Mid morning we went to Westport beach with Maeve the Deerhound and had a long walk towards Machrihanish. There were spectacular waves. Towards Machrihanish the waves were big and the spray blowing off the tops was really good. There were two windsurf boards and sails lying on the beach along near Machrihanish Dunes golf course and the wind surfers were watching the waves from the seat at the back of the beach. Unfortunately they didn't take to the water while we were there so no wind surfer pictures.

Before going home we drove up to the farm stall at Bellochantuy and stocked up on fresh local eggs.

Home for a late lunch, then some pre Christmas grocery shopping.

Afternoon music somehow became a silly afternoon animated movie on telly.
