Out to the nursery.....

I drove out to the bonsai nursery this morning and celebrated the season with my fronds out there.  We laugh and shared stories, recent activities, preparations for the season, and of course.... bonsai techniques.
It was a cold and damp day in the forest with gray skies all day that occasionally  misted on us outside.  But that didn't diminish the warmth and friendship we shared.
The one thing the day did strip away was color.....  my photo is of the long ,sand driveway  that leads from the road to the nursery, buried deep within the forest.  Between the gray sky and the white sand we have here in Florida, the pics were drab, devoid of color.  The pics do, however, show how old the Ocala National Forrest is and how tall and majestic the old oaks are.
The extra is a pic of a family house showing the practice route for Santa to come and visit real soon.  It's a lovely, warm holiday sentiment.
