New Day. New Picture

Black Cuillins

Day 4.

Last day :-(
Headed down the SW peninsula of Skye toward Kilbeg. Weather in Portree was overcast again.
But down south, stunning.
We just pottered around in the sunshine, exploring various beaches and looking at the jaw-dropping views of the Black Cuillin hills over Loch Eishort near Tokavaig.

We may have lingered a little longer in the sun admiring the views. As before we knew it, C's train from the Kyle was looking very missable. This was her last train of the day - the banker if she failed to get the one 2 hours previous.
So at breakneck speed, headed the 15 miles back to the station. You drive virtually onto the train at Kyle. I needed to.
Brakes screeched. Bundled her stuff out of the car, to see the train pulling away.... whoops!
But this isn't Kings Cross. Driver saw the predicament and stopped the train!

I headed on the drive south again on a glorious day. Such a shame to leave.
