Toys In The Basement

...or in the windows of Jenners, as in the case of Tinky Winky here (I think that's the right name - correct me if I'm wrong).

I was expecting there to be masses of folk scurrying around, hopelessly trying to find an elusive Wii Fit (or whatever else is this year's "must have"), however the hustle and bustle seemed to be confined to little pockets of activity, and we were able to walk along Princes Street with relative ease. In saying that, some work colleagues assured me that there were queues outside of HMV before it opened this morning, no doubt aided by the recent demise of Zavvi.
