Christmas tasks

The Christmas woodland management task  today included varied activities , from squirty cream  with mince-pies,  chocolate log, hot mulled fruit juice, wreath making , chatting, oh - and of course clearing the laurel and holly and making a huge bonfire. Pleased to report a record number of women volunteers today - 9 of us. A photo of 3 of them is an extra and includes R holding the holly, who turned up solely because I had put up notices round our village advertising the dates.  I took many pictures , this one best portrays the atmosphere and one of the more constructive activities. I took the "ingredients" for a wreath home  but  will it get turned into a wreath?
