This used to be the Yenching Palace, a Chinese restaurant on Connecticut Avenue. Legend has it that emissaries representing Kennedy and Krushchev hammered out the deal here to resolve the Cuban missile crisis. More recently the guest book is a list of who's who in DC. And now, sadly, it's a Walgreens pharmacy.
