Worth a late walk

A trip to Cotswold's this morning (other stores are available) to purchase a new pair of walking boots as my others have seen better days.  Whilst we were there we each picked up a pair of leggings to wear under our walking trousers and I also bought a new zip up fleecy top.  Strangely, as we are members of the National Trust, they gave us a 15% discount.  It was still a big bill, but my boots are my Christmas present.

After lunch I hit the supermarket for the sprouts (and a few other items which we don't need) and after I'd put it all away I donned my old boots and jacket for a walk around the block in much needed fresh air.  I don't know who's got the wind, but we certainly haven't.
