Close encounters

Wow, an amazing encounter with two otters today. We had watched them spinning around ,playing and hunting for food and then they came ashore right in front of us. They had not spotted us at first but when they did they sped off back into the water and swam away a few feet and then carried on playing. The weather was terrible at this time, heavy sleat showers and the wind had picked up a bit. The rest of the day was a mix of sun and Wintry showers.
We were up early and at the shops before the crowds. Mike went to M&S to get the meat and I went to Morrisons for the rest of the shopping. We now have enough food till next Thursday, possibly ;)
