Falling down slowly

It's nine years since we first came to Kettwig for Christmas. Over this time we have watched the slow decline of this old house, every year a bit more has fallen off. It is beyond understanding, only 50 yards from the main shopping street in an area where the price of property is so high that is very common to demolish one house and build two on the same plot.
This would have been a suitable Derelict Sunday blip, but there isn't a D S challenge this week:-(
