All is calm

A wild, wet day, but we have certainly not had the full force of the storms . . . yet! We have a bit of travelling to do over the next few days, so hope things don't get any worse. 

I remember buying this in Munich a few years ago and I have always liked it. 

And before anyone points out the dangers - the candles are not as close to the wood as they look to be, but we never leave it unattended whilst lit anyway. Actually we rarely light the candles as the warmth is supposed to make the sails (out of the picture) move and therefore the whole display go round, but the sails have to be so precisely in position for this to work, that we have rarely seen it in action. That's German engineering for you. I still like it though.
