Life is not a rehearsal

A good friend enquired after me today, checking in with kindness and care.

I've been a bit quiet I think, with no particular reason other than the context, in the world, at work, at home. While nothing that bad is happening, sometimes you just need something really good to happen too.

Perhaps in 2017?

In the meantime, it was perfect timing to be at the Royal Conservatoire with my folks for a carol concert.

And the signage outside seemed like a meaningful message too: time to find a voice and get on with things.
