Salvador de Bahia Brazil

We went on an excursion from the ship as we had been warned it was dangerous to walk on your own. We had to remove all jewellery and not take anything valuable. What an amazing place, vibrant, colourful and no where like I've experienced before. The street cleaner was tapping the rhythm of the music with an empty water bottle. We were taken to a special hospital started by the nun not unlike a Mother Teresa in Brazil. Police presence was high everywhere we went so I felt very safe. Went in a beautiful church full of gold and saw the largest nativity ever seen it spanned the road, see the extra.
I loved it.
