Our 2016 Christmas Cake

It has become a tradition in our household that I make the Christmas cake but then my daughter takes it away and decorates it for me.  I made the cake at the end of September but scarcely recognised it when Amy brought back the finished cake this evening beautifully decorated and with an added gingerbread headboard.
