Sleepy Santa

Last minute Christmas shopping in Inverness and then Elgin today. It turned into an eventful day in the supermarkets.

In Asda in Inverness, we had one thing in the trolley when the fire alarm went off, and they evacuated the store. I unbuckled Paige and made our way out. We didn't bother waiting around to see what was happening.

Then later in Asda in Elgin, the downward travelator broke down so we were stuck upstairs. There was a long queue for the lift. People wanted to walk down the up one, but the staff wouldn't let them, leading to some annoyed people. A guy eventually let us walk down the broken one, before a security guard came along and overruled him, closing it until it was fixed.

Glad to be finished. I won't be out tomorrow.
