Temple cows

My friends flew in from the UK and arrived this morning. They were still on UK time so we had red wine at 10am!

Later we went to explore the town; I still don’t recognise anything! We found the non-profit cafe and bookshop run by a friend of a friend and had a delicious lunch there. It’s newly opened and puts all the proceeds into local projects (Footprint Cafe if anyone is visiting Siem Reap). This is Wat Preah Prom Rath just across the river from the cafe. The hostel we’re staying at has a pool – absolute luxury! So a relaxed afternoon by the pool. And another fabulous meal in the evening.


None of us has ever been anywhere hot at Christmas and we’re finding it quite strange! It doesn’t feel like Christmas!
