Christmas Eve entertainment

What do you do on Christmas Eve? We always go into Kendal for last minute bits and pieces, have a coffee and maybe some breakfast somewhere. This year Farrers was full already so we went to Booths Artisan. This was a great decision as they do good coffee and very reasonably priced breakfast dishes with plenty of tables. Unfortunately , Gilly 'lost her purse' by the time we were at the till to order, so I had to pay! Fortunately it reappeared when we sat down again!
Back home it was time to start on this year's extravagance, a three bird roast. Not one of those you buy from Booths or Aldi.
No, this one you have to make yourself! Obviously.
Rob and Gilly promised they were doing it so I made stuffing and helped piece it all together. We will see how it turns out!
Cold buffet supper, and a game of Quiddler, then more wrapping and bed! Hope Santa comes!
