Happy Christmas

The following letter appeared in the Times on Saturday Dec 10th 2016:

Sir, Years ago the boy chosen as the innkeeper in the nativity play at my primary school in Fort William refused to accept the role. He was worried that refusing hospitality to the holy couple would disgrace his family name. After much persuasion and assurance that nobody would think the worse of him, he accepted the role. On the night, he answered the door and duly informed the couple that there was no room at the inn, but added: "But now you're here, come in for a dram anyway." Family honour preserved. Jean Bewley, Stranraer.

Baz has his paper hat on, Bibs and Harry are pulling a cracker. Happy Christmas everyone.
